"I Colored My Hair Black And It Has Gone Orange?" Did you know that there are hundreds of hair color options? From blonde to black, brown to red, yellow to blue, purple to orange - the list goes on.

But what if you didn’t want to go for a color change and wanted to just strip your hair instead?

Well, good for you, because that is exactly what one brunette did. This brunette has a problem "I stripped my hair from black and it’s gone orange now." Sounds crazy? Let’s find out.

But before we get into this hair transformation, let’s first understand why people often want to change their hair color.

Why did I lightened my hair from black?

When I first decided to dye my hair orange, I had been bleaching it blonde for years. After talking with a hair stylist and reading countless hair blogs, I was confident that orange hair would be the perfect choice. However, before making the leap, I wanted to experiment with another hair color to see what results I could achieve.

I decided to strip my hair from black in order to see if this would result in a different hair color. In the past, I had worn black hair dye because it looked natural and easy to maintain.

Yet, after stripping my hair of its black pigment, I realized that orange hair dye is not as easy to maintain as black hair dye. This is why I decided to bleach my hair blonde again for a few weeks until it reached the desired light orange shade.

What did I do before bleaching hair from black?

  • I first dyed my hair a light brown color.
  • I used a black hair dye to strip my hair of its black color.
  • After that, I used a temporary hair dye to help me maintain the orange color while stripping my hair of its black color.
  • I used Schwarzkopf Frizz-Free Shampoo and Conditioner to help control my hair's frizz while stripping my hair of its black color.
  • After that, I bleached my natural blonde strands with bleach until they were orange in color.

To complete the process, I cut off all of my black strands using scissors until nothing was left but blonde strands.

After that, I styled the blonde strands in different ways to create an orange hue.

It took time and patience to complete the transformation, but it was worth it!

How long did it take me to strip my hair from black?

It took me about two weeks to strip my hair from black. I found it a fun and enjoyable process. I loved the natural look and the bright orange color. It was a great way to experiment with hair color, and I would recommend the hair-striking process to others.

Since I stripped my hair from black, my hair color has changed drastically, and I love it! My hair is brighter, healthier looking, and more vibrant than before.

If you're interested in trying something new with your hair color, why not give hair-stripping a try? It's a fun way to experiment with hair color without damaging your strands or scalp.

What should I do if I want to revert back to my original hair color?

If you are interested in reverting your hair color to its original color, you will need to bleach it out completely. This can be done by using a bleach-safe shampoo and conditioner.

Additionally, you will need to apply a new hair color over the bleach-treated hair. Be sure to avoid products that contain peroxide or ammonia, as they can damage hair. When washing and styling your hair, take care not to tug or stretch your hair excessively.

Also, avoid leaving hair in the sun for too long and ensure you are wearing protective styles when swimming or frying your hair. If your hair does not revert back to its original color after several months, consult a hair color specialist.
