Obviously, it was going to happen. We already have shampoo with cannabis in it, so why not throw in some fish eggs as well? Recently, we at Videri, met with celebrity stylist Gilbert Muniz and noticed that a shampoo called "Caviar" graced the shelves in his Beverly Hills studio. When asked about the product he said, "there's actually caviar in it."
We were hooked. Our team went to work to find out about this shampoo that uses fish eggs to give your hair that movie star look. And guess what? Movie stars are obsessed with Caviar Shampoo. Katie Holmes says, "My absolute favorite, though, is the Caviar Shampoo. It smells great and makes me feel great." And Angelina Jolie is obsessed with fish eggs!
Apparently, according to EXPRESS, she "enjoys a $400 treatment using eggs from the Baerii sturgeon, reared on farms in the South of France. She is smothered in the extract of caviar for up to three hours to 'drench the skin with moisture and nourishment' and combat 'loss of firmness and slackened skin.'"

What Is In Caviar Shampoo?
First, let's talk about what's not in Caviar Shampoo. There are no sulfates or parabens. If you aren't familiar with and the benefits of not having sulfates in your shampoo, allow us to explain. Sulfates provide that sudsy feeling you get when you shampoo, but they also damage your hair.
So, it's important (especially if you color your hair) to not use a shampoo with sulfates. (See our four favorite sulfate-free shampoos.) This is a color-safe shampoo, so if you color your hair, this is a great shampoo to use.
When your shampoo is sulfate-free, you often won't get that lush lather that so many enjoy. However, with Caviar Shampoo, users report a surprising lather even when using a small amount of the product.

How To Use Caviar Shampoo
Wet your hair and apply the Caviar Shampoo. Lather for 1-3 minutes. If you use a lot of product in your hair, you may want to use a little more shampoo and lather for a little longer. Rinse your hair with water fully! Most people do not rinse their hair fully and that can cause product build-up and make styling more difficult.
Once you have fully rinsed, you can opt to condition with the Caviar Conditioner. Like any shampoo, experiment with the frequency of use. Some people may see better results with daily or every other day use, while others may benefit from weekly use.
Also, experiment with using the conditioner without the shampoo. You may notice more volume in your hair and greater ease when styling. So, do you want to take your hair care to the next level? Let us know what you think of this fish egg-infused shampoo! And no, your hair will not smell like fish. ;)
