Woody's Shampoo and Conditioner for Men

Woody's Shampoo and Conditioner are quality products at a very fair price. Use just one or use both, you won't be disappointed. We've reviewed Woody's Molding Clay and Woody's Mold-It Paste make a great finish to your haircare routine. However, no matter what you use to style your hair, give their shampoo and conditioner a try.

Woody's Daily Shampoo

One of our favorite things about this shampoo is that it can double as a body soap. Of course, Woody's doesn't advertise their shampoo as such and they do offer a dual body-hair soap for those that want something specifically designed for that. However, more times than not, we used the shampoo for hair and then a little more for the rest of the body. You can use Woody's Daily Shampoo for normal to oily hair and scalp. PRO TIP: Wash your hair before washing your body. Just like washing windows, you want to start from the top and work your way down. It doesn't make sense to clean your body and then have the dirt and residue from your hair run down your recently cleansed skin.

Woody's Shampoo Scent

It is a strong scent - no question. It is also a "manly" scent (whatever that means). It almost has the scent of the aftershave you would expect The Most Interesting Man In The World to wear. It smells clean, rich, and sophisticated. Too many shampoos for men these days smell like it was made for the guy in high school who thinks he's hot shit because his dad bought him a slightly used Honda Accord. Don't smell like that. You should smell like you got your life together. This shampoo smells like that. It smells like you have your own loft with the original brick wall in a building where people want to live, but can't because they don't "know the right guy." You know the right guy. Yeah, it smells something like that.

Lather and Rinse

With Woody's, your hair will feel and look incredibly clean. Yes, they say you should use it each day, however, that is probably too much for the average Joe. Instead, try skipping a day or two in between washes or considering only using the conditioner on days you aren't using the shampoo. The shampoo is super powerful and overuse will lead to stripping your hair of necessary minerals and moisture. Woody's Shampoo targets your scalp which really gives you that super-squeaky-fresh-clean feeling. Your scalp lightly tingles after use and you really feel the air hit your scalp, no matter how thick your hair may be. It's an exhilarating clean.

Thicker Hair?

Woody's claims on the back of their bottle that their shampoo "...cleanses hair as it maintains essential moisture balance. Hair is thicker, stronger, and healthier." Hmmm...we definitely did not notice any more thickness in our hair. The hair thickness seemed to be the same. So, if you are looking for a shampoo to increase thickness - this is not the one for you.  

Woody's Daily Conditioner

Woody's Daily Conditioner for Men is also great for women as well. Additionally, this conditioner works great for all hair types. No matter your hair's thickness or type, this conditioner will give you soft, yet manageable hair. Unlike other conditioners for men, Woody's won't leave your hair feeling flat. In fact, it almost does the opposite and gives your hair more volume, making styling a breeze.

Woody's Conditioner Scent and "Feel"

Woody's conditioner smells very fresh - like, really fresh. Made with natural ingredients and tea tree - Woody's conditioner smells like a high-end product without the high-end price tag. The tea tree leaves your scalp and skin with that oh-so-pleasant "tingling" feeling.

Don't Let This Conditioner Sit In Your Hair

This conditioner is very powerful, so it is suggested that you follow the directions on the bottle verbatim. Apply to wet hair after shampooing, wait 30 seconds, rinse. We tested leaving the conditioner for longer and it weighed the hair down. Extended wait time also took us from a tingling feeling to a feeling that was somewhat uncomfortable. You also do not need to use this conditioner every day. Yes, the product is called a "daily conditioner" but once a week or every other day will probably be best for you. Some of our testers preferred using the conditioner without any shampoo and only conditioned once a week and then used a good clarifying shampoo for a solid wash every two weeks. Nevertheless, when buying a new product, you should always experiment with the amount you use and the frequency that you use it.

You will be hard-pressed to find a more highly-rated men's shampoo and conditioner than Woody's. They are incredibly affordable and great work for guys of all hair types.
